Three fire brigade vehicles responded to control the fire at broke out in Gulab Bagh today afternoon, due extremely hot climate. No casualties have been reported, but a big area was gutted into flames.

Fire started from a bunch of bamboo trees near zoo and spread further engulfing bushes, tress and dry leaves.

It took more than an hour to control the flames, three vehicles of fire brigade did two rounds for the operation.

Fortunately, fire didn’t reach inside the zoo, which might have caused possible fatalities.
