A shop was engulfed in flames today morning, due to a suspected short circuit. No casualties have however been reported in this mishap as there was no one in the shop at the time of the incident.

Sanjari Associates, a welding accessories shop located at Ajanta Street, Hathipol caught fire and Zuber Khan, one of the neighbors noticed smoke coming out of the shop seeing which, he informed Shabbir Hussain, the shop owner.

When the fire brigade team that was called to the location forced open the shop, thick black fumes burst out, causing no casualty, though. The Fire Brigade team controlled the fire in no time.

The owner informed that goods worth thousands of rupees were damaged in the fire.
