8 passengers in a Jeep were severely wounded when their vehicle collided head on with a dumper near Zawar Mines.

The accident, which occurred on the Devala ‘U’ turn near Rela Village today evening, took place when a speeding hit the Jeep on the ‘U’ turn, injuring all 11 passengers in the Jeep. All the injured were shifted to Geetanjali Hospital. 3 of them were discharged after initial treatment, but 8 of the other passengers are still under treatment due to the severity of their injuries.

The Jeep was going towards Banswara, while the dumper was coming towards Udaipur.

Dayal Singh, Heera Lal, Uma Shankar, Kailash Chandra, Ghamer Lal, and Issaq Mohammad (driver of the Jeep) are among the seriously injured and admitted at Geetanjali hospital, as per police.
