A 35 year old woman died on the spot while her husband sustained minor injuries in a road accident that took place today at Debari near the Ashapura Service Center.

This incident took place when a speeding truck trolley hit the bike on which the victims were riding. The bike was hit from the back and the impact was heavy, leading to the death of the lady Pappu Bai, on the spot.

The truck driver left the vehicle and fled from the spot, leaving the Police with no alternative but to seize the vehicle and register a case against the driver for negligent and rash driving.

The dead body of the lady was shifted to the Mortuary and the postmortem will be conducted tomorrow. Her husband, Gopal Meghwal was released from Hospital care after initial first aid.

Pappu and her husband Gopal were going towards their home in Hita Village, Bhinder and this accident occurred when they were near the Ashapura Service Center.
