The Hiran Magri Police has arrested twelve people from a single community on charges of causing disturbance and hindrance in government work.

The Hiran Magri Police has arrested twelve people from a single community on charges of causing disturbance and hindrance in government work.

C.I. Kailash Khatik of the Hiran Magri Police Station has registered the case against a group of twelve people, who hurled stones at the HM Police Station last night. This happened after a Home Guard was allegedly beaten by a man in Gariyawas.

During the incident, 7 police officials also received minor injuries.

According to sources, yesterday evening a Home Guard Narendra Menaria, resident of Paneriyon ki Madri was allegedly beaten by a person identified as Chanchal.

After the fight, Menaria informed the people of his community who gathered in large numbers outside the Hiran Magri Police Station, started protesting and demanded quick action.

Seeing the situation getting tense, additional police force was deployed outside the Police station.

12 persons from the agitating group were detained for hurling stones targeting police station in which 7 Police officials viz. Prem Singh (ASI), Shiv Singh (ASI) and constables Jitendra, Kasim, Yashpal, Sukhram and Arjun received minor injuries.

The accused, Jamna Lal Menaria, Suria Prakash Menaria, Jamna Shankar Menaria, Narendra Brahman, Yugal Menaria, Naresh Menaria, Harish Menaria, Pawan Menaria, Yohesh Menaria, Naresh Menaria, Pushkar Menaria and Devendra Menaria were send to judicial custody today.
