Hillocks near Sukher’s Khel Gaon area caught fire today afternoon. The reason of fire is not yet confirmed but according to few locals the fire may have started due to the intense heat wave that the city is experiencing.

No casualties were reported in the incident. Fire brigade was also not informed as the flames got controlled on their own.

Since past few days, the City of Lakes has been experiencing scorching heat waves as mercury levels have gone beyond the 40 degrees mark.
