In a road accident case this morning at Madri, a boy died on the spot when a fast moving Tanker hit the victim’s bike from behind.

Prakash s/o Shamboo Lal Oar resident of Math Madri, Road no.1 was on his way to the home of the ward councillor, Gul Chand Meena, when a tanker coming from the highway towards Khempura hit his bike and killed him on the spot.

The body of the deceased was shifted from the scene to the mortuary for the postmortem and the tanker was taken into custody and kept at Pratap Nagar Police station while the driver fled away from the scene, said the police.

Prakash was the eldest son of the family was the sole bread earner, after his father died in a freak accident that occured in a phosphate factory where he worked.

Case was registered against the driver of the tanker and search hunt has been started by the police.
