Taxi Driver Commits Suicide

A 24 year old man committed suicide last evening by hanging himself in his rented room at Fatehpura. The incident came to light yesterday, when the neighbors saw him hanging from the roof. His brother, who lives nearby, was immediately informed and so was the Police.

 

A 24 year old man committed suicide last evening by hanging himself in his rented room at Fatehpura. The incident came to light yesterday, when the neighbors saw him hanging from the roof. His brother, who lives nearby, was immediately informed and so was the Police.

The body was shifted to the mortuary and then was handed over to the family members after the mandatory postmortem.

Mahesh Nagarati of Jawat (M.P) was staying at Udaipur, from the last few years and was working as a taxi driver. On 14th March his wife went to her parental house at Begu village for Holi celebrations and the next day he also went to his ancestral Village at Jawat.

On 16th March, he returned back to Udaipur, after which he met his elder brother and retired to his room, as per Police.

During the evening yesterday, at around 7pm, Prakash, the elder brother of Mahesh, tried calling him on his mobile, but it was switched off. Later, Prakash was informed by Mahesh’s neighbors of the incident.

Prakash rushed Mahesh to the hospital immediately, hoping for his life, but Mahesh was declared dead on arrival.
