Body of a 14-year-old boy was found from Goverdhan Sagar Lake today. The search operation was conducted early in the morning, after a bag and bicycle of the deceased was found near the lake last night.

Ronak Patel was studying in 9^th class at Government Senior Secondary School, Goverdhan Vilas. He left the house yesterday evening for attending tuition class.

According to police, prima facie it looks like a suicide. Police said that the boy didn’t know how to swim and if he was going to tuition then why did he go to the lake. His relatives said that Ronak had no enemies or any issue going on with anyone.

Narpat Singh, C.I Goverdhan Vilas Police Station said, “It is a matter of investigation and right now we cannot substantiate the actual cause of death.”

Ronak was said to be a sincere boy and had very few friends. He never used to roam around like other boys of his age.

Ronak and his family used to live at K- Block sector 14. His father died several years ago while his mother is a nurse and his sisters and an elder brother are also working.

His body was found today around 10 am after hours of search operation carried out by divers.
