A 19-year-old boy drowned in a water body at Kunwariya Mines on Sunday 8^th June. The victim Sanjay Meghwal, resident of Dabok went there with his friends for swimming.

The incident came to light when all of Sanjay’s friends came out of the water but could not find him. Soon, the boys realized that Sanjay was drowning. They rushed to police station and informed about the tragedy.

According to police, there is a 70-80 feet deep water body inside the mines, and all the boys including Sanjay went there for a bath. All his friends knew swimming except Sanjay but he still went in the water.

Body of the victim was not found till yesterday evening and the search operation was started again today with the help of divers.
