Tempo runs over a sleeping Infant Girl

In a shocking mishap that took place today morning, a 1-year-old girl died on the spot after been ran over by a loading tempo. Accident took place at Goverdhan Vilas, near Allahabad Bank.

Tempo Driver fled away from the spot just after the accident.

1-year-old Geeta d/o Shanti Lal from Indira Colony was fast asleep below a tree on the roadside under the supervision of her mother when the tempo driver failed to notice the sleeping child and drove over her body; the child died instantly.

Goverdhan Vilas Police has lodged the complaint against unidentified tempo driver.
