A large part of a fragile house situated in the old city area collapsed due to continuous rainfall. No fatalities were reported, however three scooters parked below the building were damaged.

The incident took place early morning today at Dashora Gali, Old City where a large part of an empty house of Rajendra Dashora collapsed. The house was in fragile condition since long time as the owner and his family shifted to new home 12 years back.

Kailash Soni, one of the neighbors said, “We reported administration about the condition of building many times but no action was taken. It became threat to the lives of all the residents of area.” Due to the collapse, Soni’s scooter was also damaged.

Owner of the house Rajendra Dashora reached at the spot and arranged labour to completely demolish the house to avoid any such incidents in future.
