Passengers of the Amusement train at Gulab bagh were gripped by panic on Sunday afternoon when the train suddenly derailed and turned over. This is the second incidence of the Toy train at Gulab bagh derailing in a period of less than a year.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the mishap except few minor wounds. All the 30 passengers were rescued safely from after the mishap.

The mishap occurred on Sunday afternoon at 1PM when Amusement train was carrying 30 passengers including the kids to take a round of Gulab bagh Garden, got rolled over after coming off the tracks few meters away from the station. Train collided with a big stone before coming off the track.

Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari said that, the incidence was really very sad as it could be fatal for the people but luckily no one got seriously injured.  Seeing the frequent incidences of the train getting rolled over, the tracks will be changed and it will also be broadened as compared to the present one.

Later, a team from Nagar Nigam rushed to the scene and started its repairing and also attempted to bring the train back on its track.

Besides this incidence, the amusement train over turned in August 2014 injuring one of its passenger severely. The mishap that time was a result of overloading due to which the wheel got detached from its body, highlighting the negligence of the administration.
