A speeding truck killed 22 sheep at Gogunda Road today. The freaking road mishap raised anger and concern among Rebari, the shepherd community.

Covered with blood, the mutilated bodies of sheep were seen scattered all over the road. The accident took place when a large flock of sheep were passing through road and suddenly a truck at high speed ran over the flock, killing 22 sheep instantly.

Soon after the incident, the truck driver fled away. The shepherd community of Rebari who owned the flock expressed their distress over the tragedy.

Gogunda Police responded to the scene and started investigation.
