A 25-year-old man died on the spot after he was overrun by a speeding truck at Hiran Magri last night. The victim Lavi s/o Robinson, resident of Bappa Rawal Nagar was crossing the road when the accident occurred.

Body of the victim was immediately rushed to MB Hospital Mortuary and the family members were informed.

According to police, the mishap took place opposite Girija Vyas Petrol Pump at around 12:15am. The accused truck driver was later caught near Geetanjali Hospital and the truck was seized.

Police informed that, Lavi was the only son in the family and he used to deal in computer hardware.
