A water tanker of Municipal Council was rolled down on the road after being hit by a truck-trailer. The trailer’s cabin damaged due to the crash. No fatalities have been reported in the accident that occurred today morning at Patel Circle, while water tanker was parked on road, watering plants at road divider.

According to sources, the water tanker driver Raghu Nath, employee of Municipal Council was watering the plants at road. Suddenly a truck-trailer in high speed passed through and crashed into the water tanker.

Due to the crash, the tanker rolled over the road, while the driver cabin of the trailer got damaged. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the mishap; however, the road traffic was affected for an hour. The truck driver fled from the scene.
