In a road mishap that occurred today, at least six girls received injuries when their bus was hit by a speeding truck at Bappa Rawal Chauraha.

The mishap took place this afternoon, when a truck coming towards Udaipur hit the bus head-on going towards Jodhpur. The bus was taking girls from different schools to Jodhpur for their participation in a State Level Tournament, as per Police.

Around six girls received injuries and they were identified as Sheetal, Kanchan, Deepika, Lokeshwari, Lalita and Anisha. The girls were rushed to MB Hospital for treatment.

As informed by the Police, the accused driver and his truck have been seized.
