Two students, Harish Kumar and Madan Lal, died on the spot after being hit by a truck today at Dabok. Both the deceased hailed from Pali and had come to Udaipur for their studies.

Students of Rabindra Nath Tagore B.ED College, Dabok, they were waiting for an auto rickshaw near a petrol pump. According to sources, the mishap took place when the auto driver allegedly stopped the auto in middle of the road. Resultantly, the truck coming from behind, in trying to avoid collision, took a sharp turn that caused the truck lose balance. The truck smashed into the students killing them on the spot before falling on the wayside.

Both the boys died on the spot and their body got crushed below the truck. After over an hour of rescue operation, the truck was removed with the help of a crane and the bodies were taken out.
