A doctor from Udaipur is unable to get exit permit from Nigeria, the West African country hit by the deadly virus of Ebola.

A doctor from Udaipur is unable to get exit permit from Nigeria, the West African country hit by the deadly virus of Ebola.

Dr. Hemant Jingad, an anesthetist resident of Udaipur’s Moti Chohatta area is currently working in Abuja, Capital of Nigeria since June this year. His parents and family members are extremely worried after the fatal virus Ebola started spreading across African countries and want their son’s immediate and safe return.

But due to strict immigration and travel norms, the 34-year-old doctor has been denied returning to his homeland.

“We are in constant touch with Hemant and trying our best to get him out of there, the embassy in Delhi is also helping us and assured that Hemant will return back soon,” said Jamnalal Jingad, father of Hemant.

Jamnalal Jingad informed that, before moving to Nigeria, Hemant was working in Primus Hospital, Delhi.
