Udaipur’s Officer missing in Navy’s Dornier plane crash in Goa

A wave of shock hit the house of Abhinav Nagori, a 24 year old pilot of Navy when the information of the Navy’s Dornier surveillance aircraft on which he was present got crashed on Tuesday night in the Arabian sea 30 miles west in Karwar, Karnataka.

A wave of shock hit the house of Abhinav Nagori, a 24 year old pilot of Navy when the information of the Navy’s Dornier surveillance aircraft on which he was present got crashed on Tuesday night in the Arabian sea 30 miles west in Karwar, Karnataka.

Out of the 3 pilots, one of the pilots Nikhil Joshi was rescued while Abhinav and his co-pilot is still missing.

Abhinav’s father Dharam Chand Nagori rushed to Goa soon after getting the information of mishap as the rescue operation to find Abhinav and his co-pilot is still on. The atmosphere of Nagori’s house is tensed and everyone is hoping and praying for his safety, informed Abhinav’s relative.

Abhinav’s relative also informed that the 24 year old pilot stays at Bhuwana and is the only son of his parents. His father Dharma Chand Nagori is a retired District Education Officer.

Abhinav did his schooling from Udaipur and engineering from Bangalore from where he got selected in Navy. On Tuesday night, during the routine night flying operation, the mishap occurred and the Dornier plane in which he and others were flying, crashed.

The incident took place at around 10.30 PM after the navy air station of Goa lost contact with the plane. Immediately after getting the information of the mishap the rescue operation had started and around 6 vessels including Coast Guard have been sailed for the rescue operation.

Sources also informed that the victim Nikhil Joshi was rescued by the fishermen from Karwar and was admitted to a local hospital there.

Abhinav had visited his house in Udaipur last year and this year he was about to come in the summer vacations. The reservations already been done by him, his family members are still hoping that he will come home soon.
