A 82-year-old woman died in a freak accident occurred today at Hiran Magri area. The mishap took place due to the alleged technical breakdown of a Jeep.

According to police, the deceased Ramba Bai was sitting outside her house at Sutharon ka Muhalla, Hiran Magri with her grandson. By the time, one of their neighbors Bhagwan Singh was trying to start his Jeep.

Bhagwan Singh lost his control over the vehicle which started abruptly and moved back, crushing Ramba Bai.

The victim old lady received serious injuries and rushed to the hospital but she died in a little while.

The relatives of the deceased have lodged police complaint against the vehicle owner.
