A decomposed body of a middle aged man was found floating in Udai Sagar Lake on Friday morning. The dead body was handed over for cremation as it wasn’t identified after hours of efforts.

The unidentified dead body floating in the lake upside down was spotted by a local. The man informed Pratap Nagar police in the morning after which the body was pulled out of the water body and shifted to mortuary, police said.

According to the police, the body was completely decomposed. The man was wearing a t-shirt and trousers with the name ‘Bhole Shanker’ tattooed on his arm.
