More than 200 people who attended the wedding feast at Salumber last night were admitted in hospital due to food poisoning. No precise reason of the food poisoning is known yet but it is assumed that one of the sweets served was contaminated.

Till late in the night, Medical Center of Salumber got crowded by the patients and their relatives. After getting informed about the mishap, Udaipur CMHO sent a team of 5 doctors from Udaipur to tackle the situation. Most of the patients are from Udaipur and Dungerpur.

Along with the doctors, a team of police officials also rushed to the scene to verify the situation and to help the victims.
