A mishap registered in the evening at 6.30 PM today where two got injured when a giant Swagat Dwaar (welcome-gate) fell in the market near Surajpol Police Chowki.

According to Police, a bus of Gujarati tourists was trying to pass through the giant welcome gate which was placed for Diwali decoration, but the bus got stuck. The driver stepped out to see the way-out, whilst a scooter rider tried to pass-by the scene.

At the very moment, the gate fell and the scooter rider along with the driver got injured. Jagdish Sindhi (50), driving the scooter received injuries in head and Lal Mehta, bus driver got his leg fractured.

Surajpol Police came on the spot and sent the injured to the M. B. Hospital, where they are admitted in Ward No. 16.
