Wild bear attacks elderly woman in Sayra
An incidence of animal attack came in light at Palakh village of Sayra police station circle of Udaipur on Thursday after a bear targeted an elderly woman of the area.
An incidence of animal attack came in light at Palakh village of Sayra police station circle of Udaipur on Thursday after a bear targeted an elderly woman of the area.
The victim woman identified as Kanki Bai sustained severe facial injuries in the bear attack whereas her neck area also got seriously injured.
Soon after the Incidence, the patrolling has increased in the area and the team of forest department is also keeping an eye on the movement of the beast in the area.
The forest officers also rushed to the area immediately after the incidence took place. Moreover, the process of providing financial help to the victim has been started.
ACF Laiq Ali Khan informed that the victim woman was thrashed by the bear and received severe injuries on her face and neck. She is undergoing treatment after her critical condition. Ali further said that the area where the incidence occurred is the habitat of the bear since a long time and the movement of the four legged animal there is active.
The villagers informed that last year the husband of the victim woman was also targeted by the bear and rushed to the hospital.
