A newly wed 23 year old woman committed suicide at her house by consuming Selfus pills last Sunday.  She was rushed to M.B Hospital where she died during treatment.

The matter is being dealt by the SDM while the body was handed over to her family after conducting a postmortem.

The woman was married on 5^th May 2014 and since then was residing at her in-laws house in Dhamania Village.  This Sunday she consumed Selfus pills under mysterious circumstances.  After the mishap, she fell sick and started vomiting.  Seeing her condition getting worse, she was rushed to the hospital but she could not survive and she died during treatment, said police.

Police was subsequently informed about the mishap and a team from Dabok Police Station went to the mortuary and handed her body to her relatives after the postmortem.

Though the family members of the deceased have given a report that they don’t have any doubt on her death, but the reason of committing suicide is still a matter of investigation, said the Police.
