A 47 year old woman died today during treatment at M.B hospital, after two days of her being admitted into hospital for consuming poisonous substance.

Manju Sen, resident of Shiv Nagar, Kalka Mata road consumed some poisonous substance two days back out of mental pressure. Manju lost her husband Ramesh Sen a month back and since then she was under mental pressure, said police.

She was rushed to MB Hospital by her son, two days back, as per Police.

The postmortem of the deceased was conducted today and her body was handed over to her family members, informed police.
