A 35-year old woman died after drowning in an open well situated near her house at Dabok. The mishap occurred on Tuesday morning while she went to fetch water from the well.

The victim identified as Rani (name changed) was a resident of Demla village, Dabok. When the victim went to the well to get some water, she accidently fell into the well. After few minutes she was pulled out and rushed to MB Hospital where she died during the treatment, Dabok police informed.

The dead body of the woman was handed over to the relatives after its postmortem, added police.
