A 35 year old woman committed suicide last night of 19th April after consuming acid that was lying in the toilet.

Pushpa w/o Champa Lal Rao consumed Toilet cleaning Acid last night at 2am. She was rushed to M.B hospital, but she died during the treatment, as per police.

The postmortem was done today afternoon.

According to police, the reason behind the suicide was not ascertained. The deceased was working as a maid at a house in Panchratan Complex and her husband is a working with a NGO.
