Activists of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) demanded action against the officials and veterinary doctors for their alleged negligence which caused death of a seriously wounded spotted deer (Chital) today.
The deer was admitted to Udaipur’s Animal Hospital after being transported from Chittorgarh few days back. But according to BJYM’s President Jinendra Shastri, the deer was not examined properly and sent to Gulab Bagh Zoo where he died today due to lack of medical support.
A complaint letter in the form of memorandum was presented to Mahesh Kapila, joint director of Veterinary Hospital, Udaipur.
Shastri also mentioned that the Veterinary Hospital of Udaipur is biased in responding to the stray and wild animals while pets get special preference.
