18 Kg Plastic Bags confiscated after raids at multiple shops

Continuing the drive to make Udaipur a pollution free city a joint squad of Lake Patrolling team and Udaipur Municipal Corporation on Thursday seized around 18 kilograms of Plastic bags during a raid conducted by them at 40 to 50 shops of the city and penalized the shopkeepers of Rs. 3600 for possessing the plastic bags.

 

Continuing the drive to make Udaipur a pollution free city a  joint squad of Lake Patrolling team and Udaipur Municipal Corporation on Thursday seized around 18 kilograms of Plastic bags during a raid conducted by them at 40 to 50 shops of the city and penalized the shopkeepers of Rs. 3600 for possessing the plastic bags.

Similarly the same team consisting of Purshotam Lilani, Rajesh Rathore and Shyam Singh confiscated 11 kilograms of plastic bags during a raid conducted by them at 7 shops of the city on Wednesday and issued chalans to the shopkeepers of Rs. 1500, informed O.P Bunkar, Additional District Collector.
