99kg Plastic Bags Seized from Shopkeepers
Subsequent to a raid conducted by the Pollution Control Board of Udaipur with the joint support of the SDM, Nagar Parishad and the Tehsildar, 99 kilos of Plastic Bags was seized today from several shops in Udaipur.
Subsequent to a raid conducted by the Pollution Control Board of Udaipur with the joint support of the SDM, Nagar Parishad and the Tehsildar, 99 kilos of Plastic Bags was seized today from several shops in Udaipur.
Under the Inspection program of the Pollution Control Board, 11 different shops of the city were raided and a huge amount of Plastic Bags were taken into custody by the Nagar Parishad Officials and Tehsildar.
“The operation was led by Pushpendra Singh Shaktawat, SDM City. The operation started in the afternoon from the Dhanmandi area, where plastic bags were seized in a significant amount”, said SDM.
He added, “Continuing the raids, the team of officials reached JMB, opposite Town Hall and concluded raids as they seized the poly bags from the Shastri Circle area”.
The SDM informed that these raids would be conducted in the near future too.
