Special team of ACB raided the PWD Office and seized the record registers containing details of roads construction under Prime Minister Rural Road Development Scheme.

The raid was conducted following the continuous complaints about the irregularities in the work of the road network and the quality of work, said Ad SP Special Unit-ACB Umesh Ojha.

Ojha further added that his team has receiving tip off that the work of the road network (PMRRDS) that is going on at Gogunda Upkand is not as the standards of the PWD. Upon getting such tips, on Friday the ACB team first visited the site for field verification and then raided the PWD office near Gulab Bagh.

The investigation is still going on as now the samples of the construction materials will be taken and will be sent to lab for verification after which actions will be taken accordingly.
