Working against the illegal encroachments in the city, the Anti Encroachment Wing of Udaipur Municipal Corporation dismantled illegal constructions of more than 15 shops situated at Chetak Circle.

The AEW rushed to the lane opposite to gate number 2 of Gandhi Ground and demolished the bathrooms, overhangs and gates which were constructed illegally.

Dalpat Singh of the team said that on 23^rd January, the team had intimated the shop keepers who had acquired the land without permission to remove the encroachment as soon as possible. But when no changes were seen in that area, the Anti Encroachment Wing of UMC removed the illegal constructions off the lane.
