Under the ongoing anti-encroachment drive, Nagar Nigam team with Revenue Inspector Nitish Bhatnagar demolished the 7th floor of the building situated in Madhuban, near Lok Kala Mandal.

The Udaivilla Residency in Madhuban had the permission to construct 6 floors along with the ground floor. However, the illegal construction of the 7th floor led the anti-encroachment team to demolish the floor. The building was given prior notice for illegal encroaching but no action was taken by the building owners.

Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari and Commissioner of UMC Himmat Singh Bahrath were also present at the site.

Nitish Bhatnagar, RI said that the routine checks of illegal construction and their encroachment will be carried out in the coming days in the city to ensure smooth traffic movement, ample of space for parking and pedestrians to walk.
