Motorists passing through the busy circle of Delhi Gate were surprised after hearing continuous announcements of “Traffic Rules” on speakers installed at the chouraha.

The new method of audio visual is introduced for spreading traffic awareness among motorists and commuters.

Although the concept is new in Udaipur, many metro cities of India has already experimented it previously.

The increasing traffic is one of the major problem traffic police is struggling with, over this, breaking signal light, not stopping before zebra crossing and driving without helmet are some of the common breaching committed by many motorists.

“To cope up with the traffic situation, these audio visuals will be installed at all major crossings and chourahas of the city and to start with, it is first installed at Delhi Gate” said Rajendra Tripathi, Dy S.P Traffic.
