A two day workshop introducing Government plans and beneficial schemes to Rural Youth has commenced from today at Kisan Bhavan.

Organized under the banner of Nehru Yuva Kendra, the workshop on project NREGA (National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) is backed by Rural Development and Department of Panchayati Raj, in association with Zila Parishad.

Pawan Kumar Amravat, District youth coordinator said that the program is conducted to make the youth residing in rural areas become aware of the beneficiary schemes and development going on in NREGA.

“We are uniting the small groups of villages like Mahila Mandal, etc. and to execute the work properly, we have made 16 clusters in more than 100 villages selected for the program”, said Pawan Kumar.

The program will also include competitions and other light but valuable discussions between the youth.

Other officials who were present at the program are Shankar Lal Khatik, Plan Officer; Parshuram Lohar, Health Officer and Jotaram Patel of Nav Yuvak Mandal.
