With the display of anger at the collector’s office in the afternoon today, a memorandum was presented to the District Collector by the BJP Youth Front regarding various social problems and daily issues faced by the people of Udaipur.

The memorandum was presented under the leadership of Jinendra Shastri , president of BJP Youth Front and Chanchal Agarwal, President BJP Mandal. Through the medium of the memorandum, they demanded strict action and swift decisions on various issues including the demand to start the elevated roads and over bridges in the city so that the problem of the unmanaged traffic can be sorted out.

They mentioned in the memorandum that even after getting the required permissions for the construction of elevated roads from the State Government, the work has not yet started.

During the demonstration, Kunti Lal Jain, worker of BJPYM, Kamlesh Prajapat, Pesident of BJPYM Mandal etc were present at the collector’s office.

The most vital demand of the BJPYM is to put a check on the increasing incidences of crime such as day light robbery, theft, chain snatching and most importantly, the increasing incidents of shootout in the city. In the memorandum, they mentioned that looking at the situation nowadays, the slogan placed in each police station of the city “Amjan ME Vishvaas, Apradhio me Dar” should be read as “Aam jan me Dar, Apradhio me Vishvaas”.

They also demanded regular water supply to the houses.

In the end, they brought to the collector’s notice the most discussed recent issue of theft of birds from the Gulab Bagh Zoo and demanded strict action against the thieves.
