Sir James Baven, British High Commissioner to India arrived in Udaipur today on his two day visit. Baven met District Collector and learned about the bureaucracy and political aspects.

According to sources, Sir James Baven is visiting every state of India and his visit to Udaipur is considered to be linked with both touring the city’s historical places and understanding the administrative approach of the city.

During his visit, Baven met the district collector Ashutosh Pednekar and discussed with him various issues. He also met AAP contestant Dr. Velaram Gogra in a small ceremony where he discussed several issues of Mewar region including development of tribal belt.
