Udaipur administration has tightened the quality measures for the food products used in the market following the festive season, to provide pure food stuff to the consumers. An inspection was carried out at several places today by Medical Health Department and Food Product Department of District Administration.

The campaign against contaminated food products is initiated by State Government to ensure that quality food materials are sold to the consumer. The campaign will continue for 23 days in the joint association of Medical Health department and Food Product Department.

CMHO, Dr. RN Bairwa and Food and Safety officer, Anil Bhardwaj inspected a grocery store at Goverdhan vilas and took the sample of mustard oil. The officers also visited a famous sweet shop at Surajpol and checked the preparation area and took sample of Khoya.

According to DR. Bairwa, the samples will be checked and if found inappropriate, as per the set standards, then action will be taken against the offenders.
