District administrations with local residents are preparing to observe the day of Muharram on Sunday 24^th Nov. A thorough inspection of road where taziyas will pass from was inspected by District Collector, along with top police officials of the city.

Vikas Bhale, District Collector has noticed several loopholes and has given instructions to the officials of the related Department to fix them all.

The inspection started today at 5.30 pm from Jagdish Chowk, during scrutiny, all top officials SDM, Pushpendra Singh; M.Yaseen Pathan, ADM city; AD SP Tejraj Singh; Satya Narayan Acharya, Commissioner Municipal Council; Anant Kumar, DySP North; Dayanand Saran, DySP west; Mahendra Singh, DySP Traffic and officials of all the other departments were present with the Collector, along with the residents of the area and representatives of Muslim community.

District Collector instructed concerned departments, including UMC, PWD, and Traffic etc. to take all necessary actions to carry out the Muharram procession without any obstruction.

Collector also ordered the ADM city to put barricade at the Jetty present at the Lal Ghat to avoid any sort of mishap due to overcrowding. According to ADM city, next inspection will be done by the Collector on 24 Nov.
