The District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar held a meeting with city’s NGOs, social workers and agencies that work for anti-human trafficking and child labor.

In the meeting discussion was held to launch a drive that could identify minors, below the age of 14 years to be released from their work and provided proper education. He also suggested for rehabilitation of such kids who are released from their labor.

In the drive, the minors who are working in restaurants, stalls, houses, establishments will be identified and set free from the burden. Also, a campaign will be launched to spread awareness in their families to help the kids have a stable life ahead with education and proper job opportunities in the future.
