The Special Unit of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Udaipur on Monday received a complaint against 6 people including officials of Urban Improvement Trust for causing financial loss to the state government by favoring a property dealer.

The Special Unit of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Udaipur on Monday received a complaint against 6 people including officials of Urban Improvement Trust for causing financial loss to the state government by favoring a property dealer.

One Pukhraj Tank, resident of Delhi Gate area on Tuesday informed that team of Special Unit of ACB that few officials of the UIT have acquired total land of 4188 sq feet from the piece of land possessed by him in the name of constructing road but instead allotted the land to a private property dealer for his benefit, informed AdSP Special Unit Umesh Ojha.

Ojha further added that the complainant gave his report against Satyanarayan Lathi- the then secretary of UIT, RP Sharma- the then Officer of Special Duty UIT, Balu Singh Karnawat and the beneficiaries Nazar Singh of Bhopalpura, Kanta Nebhnani of Antriksh Complex Machla Magra and Shyam Lal Harkawat of Shivaji Nagar.

Tank in his report also claimed that UIT has caused a loss of around Rs. 63,53,600 to the state government. Upon getting the complaint, the investigation has been started by the ACB which will reveal much vital information on this matter, added Ojha.
