Continuing the anti encroachment drive, the team of Udaipur Municipal Corporation (Nagar Nigam) on Friday morning reached at Delhi gate area and  demolished the illegally construction found near the Hanuman temple.

According to the information two of the shops including a Mobile Shop and a Tea Shop which were reportedly illegally constructed in the area were targeted by the anti encroachment team and everything inside the shops were also seized.

Rajaswa Officer Nitish Bhatnagar informed that a few months ago the two shops were constructed by the priest of the Hanuman temple inside its premises whereas he didn’t have any rights to do so. A notice had been served to the priest by UMC in relation to the encroachment and he was asked to remove it but when no action was taken by him, a team of UMC Anti Encroachment wing reached at the scene on Friday and demolished the encroachments.
