In an anti-encroachment drive carried out by Municipal Corporation, an illegal garage and a fish sales center from the Ayad river basin area, near the bridge were demolished. The encroachers had constructed a boundary wall as well. 

Team of Nitish Bhatnagar, Abhay Kumar Vaya and Chaman Singh inspected the encroachment location along with the police force. On the orders of the mayor, Chandra Singh Kothari the establishments were demolished.
