A Flag March was carried out in the city by the police department in many areas of the city. This series of flag march is a pre-election exercise.

Currently, various measures are taken by police to ensure saftey and peaceful environment during upcoming Lok Sabha Election. This flag march was also an indication of ‘assurance of safety’ by the department in the city.

“The flag march passed from various areas and was accompanied by huge team of Police Department. 6 companies of CISF, 5 companies of Gujarat State Police, Circle Officers, SHOs ” as informed by Hanuman Prasad, AdSP Head Quarter.
