Superintendent GRP, Kishan Sahay came to Udaipur immediately on getting news of the theft that took place in the Udaipur bound Ratlam-Udaipur train at Debari.
After assessing the situation and talking to one of the victim women the SP was of the view that it was a case of theft but did not rule out other possibilities till a complete investigation was done. He also informed that the mobiles stolen along with the bag, are being traced and the department is trying to nab the culprits.
He also said that from now on two guards of the GRP will be deployed in rash train and these guards will do regular drills in the trains to ensure that no such incidents occur in future and the passengers are safer.
Further SP confirmed that note GRP men will be made available on each station to counter such incidents.
