Health minister disappointed with MB Hospital’s condition
State Minister for Health, Rajendra Rathore expressed his concern and dissatisfaction on the conditions of Maharana Bhupal Hospital, one of the largest government hospitals in the district.
State Minister for Health, Rajendra Rathore expressed his concern and dissatisfaction on the conditions of Maharana Bhupal Hospital, one of the largest government hospitals in the district.
Rathore during his inspection of MB Hospital yesterday, found number of irregularities and negligence. He instructed the hospital administration to fix all flaws immediately.
For more than an hour, Rajendra Rathore visited each and every ward and department of MB Hospital with principal secretary JC Mohanty. Hospital superintendent, Dr. D.P Singh and RNT Medical College Principal, Dr. Chandra Mathur were also present during inspection.
During inspection, Rathore also met patients and their relatives to take feedback of the services provided by the hospital. He instructed the superintendent to provide all the medical reports done in the hospital’s diagnosis center on the same day.
“I observed the condition of the hospital and found many things below standard, for e.g.; poor condition of beds, broken window grills, non-functional air coolers, dirty toilets etc. The concerned department has been instructed strictly.”
Rajendra Rathore also met the representatives of Nursing Students who are on strike for their prolong demands. Rathore assured them of taking positive actions.
Following the inspection, Rathore conducted meeting with all Head of the Departments at the conference hall of administrative block.
