Common citizens of the city who had pending cases in District Court have now approached Lok Adalat to get quick decree. The concept of Lok Adalat under Government of India has installed 11 desks at the court premises.

The Lok Adalat will serve those people who are financially deprived and don’t have advocates and other legal requirements. According to District Judge Ramchandra Jhala, “All the pending cases which are not heard due to any circumstances will be resolved in Lok Adalat.”

The Lok Adalat was started today morning and will continue till 23rd Nov. Jhala said, “We have targeted to solve more than 1500 cases till the deadline of 23rd Nov.”

The only motive to start Lok Adalat is to make the decision quickly, the hearing will be final and the applicant is not allowed to take the case further after it gets final hearing in Lok Adalat.

Ramchandra Jhala instructed advocates to take out all pending cases. The meeting was joined by District Collector and Police Superintendent.
