Mayor appeals for Cleanliness to food stall owners at Sukhadia Circle
In an ongoing drive to make the city cleaner, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari appealed to all the food stall vendors situated at Sukhadia Circle to maintain cleanliness around their shops else strict actions will be taken against them.
In an ongoing drive to make the city cleaner, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari appealed to all the food stall vendors situated at Sukhadia Circle to maintain cleanliness around their shops else strict actions will be taken against them.
A meeting was held between the owners of the food stalls and hawkers at Sukhadia circle on Thursday night where the Mayor instructed all of them to take proper precautions for the hygiene of the area. He also asked them to keep a separate bin where the waste can be collected and later disposed off.
The Mayor gave 7 days time to the hawkers and shop keepers to execute the plan of action and if found negligent towards the cause, actions will be taken. Besides this, the handcart will also be seized by the team of UMC.
An idea was propose by Mayor to the horse and camel riders to divert their rides along the Big Bazaar road instead of taking the footpath constructed around the Sukhadia circle fountain.
